Her brothers also join the fight and Sivasankaran declares that he will marry Kunju Lakshmi in 14 days...

3) Meleparambil Aanveedu - Jayaram, Sobhana, Narendra Prasad - 1993

Harikrishan (Jayaram) is the youngest son of Thrivikram Muthallali whose brothers Jayakrishnan and Gopikrishan were older and not as handsome as Harikrishnan. He wants to earn a good living and so sets forth to a Tamil village as manager of a courier company. Hari sees a young Tamilin girl named Pavizham (Shobana) who is being forced by her father to get married against her will. The two fall in love and elope.

Unnikrishan (Jayaram) wants to become a secret agent like his idol, Prem Nazir. His parents and his girlfriend support him. But Unnikrishan cannot find a job. He later gets selected as a trainee in a private detective agency called Secret Files. He is given the task of investigating a businessman's criminal record. But he faces two rivals, Premshankar and Oomen Koshy, who are also from the same detective agency investigating the same case.

The film tells the story of a rich orphan - Apputtan, a generous and liberal man. He helps settle the financial woes of people in the village. He is attracted to a girl whose education he has been sponsoring. But her response to his love after becoming a doctor at his expense, was something Apputtan had least expected. As Apputtan has studied only up to high school, she treats him like an illiterate. The film ends well with the girl developing interest towards Apputtan
